THE S.C.A.D. PROJECT

Charity project and collection of original works

S.C.A.D is a non-profit organization founded in 2002 with concrete objectives: to reduce the number of stray animals in Bangkok and improve their daily lives in a happier, healthier environment.

The organization called on Mitch Weber, Director of Ogilvy Action Bangkok (Nestlé & Purina Group), and entrusted Ludo Cazeba with the creation and artistic direction of the photographic production. The aim was to bring an energetic, unconventional touch to the project.

Partnerships were forged with designers and shooting locations to produce 13 distinctively styled visuals, featuring men, women and their best friends (animals). The series aimed to celebrate the unique relationship between humans and their companions, while supporting the cause championed by S.C.A.D.

Celebrities and members of the SCAD association, including actress Sikanya Saktidej Bhanubandh, model Sirinya "Cindy" Bishop, Michele Ronja Waagaard, Pattriya Na Nakorn and Miss Universe 2005 Nathalie Glebova, gave up their time to pose in a bohemian, artistic and chic photo series alongside the cats and dogs up for adoption.

Nestlé Purina covered the costs of technical production and printing of the calendar. The Ogilvy Action agency provided the final funding for the project, while its team volunteered its time to oversee all operations.

In collaboration with these partners, Ludovic also organized an exhibition including an auction of 13 original works at a prestigious venue in Bangkok, and the sale of hundreds of calendars, with all proceeds going to the association.
